Weakley County School Board Stands Firm for Traditional Public Education in Resolution to General Assembly

The Weakley County School Board affirmed its support for traditional public education with the passing of a significant resolution during Thursday night’s board meeting held at Sharon School. The resolution, passed unanimously by all members present, opposes Governor Lee’s Education Freedom Act and the expansion of Education Savings Accounts and emphasizes the profound impact of traditional public education in rural communities.
